This is more to safe your sanity on long car rides then for fun, but we have found this DVD player works best for us. It has the option of plugging into the cars AC adapter so the battery will never run out! Portable Propane Grill

Probably our favorite item we have bought for camping is a propane gas grill. This is a huge time saver when you arrive at the campsite hungry or the fire is taking a while to start. We make everything on this from burgers and hot dogs to foil packet salsa chicken.

Single Serve Keurig

Another one of my favorite kitchen items is the single serve Keurig. Its slim, making it easy to store in a tiny space. We were using a regular coffee maker, but I found by the time I woke up the first round was already cold. I need my coffee fast and hot in the morning! We go hiking a lot when we camp, and I like to eat a healthy on the go lunch. It can be difficult to find something gluten free so salad is usually my go to. If there are puddles, my kids will step in them, so a waterproof hiking shoe is a must for them. We have had great luck with these, and they are low in cost which is great for growing feet. At around $35 you won’t go broke trying to buy them every year your kids feet grow!

Memory Foam Mattress Topper

For a great tent, we had this 8 person Coleman tent for years. Kept the moisture out, and the best part was we could fit 3 queen sized air mattresses next to each other on the floor of the tent. In my opinion Air Mattresses are a must for tent camping! Nobody wants to sleep on a rock all night and a good nights sleep is key to enjoying a camping trip. At around $30 we feel the Intex ones hold up great! Make sure you get a single high as a higher bed may not fit through the door once blown up. Car Power Inverter
