Probably our favorite item we have bought for camping is a propane gas grill. This is a huge time saver when you arrive at the campsite hungry or the fire is taking a while to start. We make everything on this from burgers and hot dogs to foil packet salsa chicken.

Another one of my favorite kitchen items is the single serve Keurig. Its slim, making it easy to store in a tiny space. Salad Storage Container
We go hiking a lot when we camp, and I like to eat a healthy on the go lunch. It can be difficult to find something gluten free so salad is usually my go to. These containers are great for keeping everything separate (especially the dressing) until its time to eat. (To purchase click on the image to link to the Amazon website)

For Tent Camping
Tent
For a great tent, we had this 8 person Coleman tent for years. Kept the moisture out, and the best part was we could fit 3 queen sized air mattresses next to each other on the floor of the tent. Plenty of room for 4 people and their stuff! (To purchase click on the image to link to the Amazon website)

Air Mattresses
In my opinion Air Mattresses are a must for tent camping! Nobody wants to sleep on a rock all night and a good nights sleep is key to enjoying a camping trip. At around $30 we feel the Intex ones hold up great! Make sure you get a single high as a higher bed may not fit through the door once blown up.
