Artillery Ridge Campground is a great campground located super close to part of the Gettysburg battlefields in Pennsylvania.
One of the great things about this campground is it is also a horse park. The people camping with horses were kind enough to talk to the kids and let them interact with the horses.
There is a small pool on site, though we visited in April so could not use the pool. They have a 9 hole mini golf course and one night while we were there a few vendors were set up, including one selling wine slushies!
One of my favorite things about this campground is you can walk the path (follow the horse trail) across the street right to the battlefield! We were able to see some of the sites a short walk outside of the campground.
