Even with COVID, we managed to camp 38 nights in 2020! We were able to squeeze in 3 weekend trips at the end of the season in our new camper, and look forward to being able to use it more.
As we move into 2021, we wanted to give a preview of some of the places we will be camping, hiking, exploring and blogging. As with 2020, all plans are tentative and we go into it knowing it might not work out due to COVID, but we are hoping for the best.
Weekend Trips:
Gettysburg KOA (PA)
Greenbrier State Park (MD) and a hiking review of South Mountain State Park
Francis Slocum State Park (PA) and a hiking review of Ricketts Glen State Park
We will also be heading back to some of our favorites, Lake in Wood (PA), Harpers Ferry KOA (WV) and Lake Raystown Resort (PA)
Longer Trips:
Sedona, AZ (In all fairness we aren’t camping here, but will be blogging on the area anyway) with hopefully a stop at the Grand Canyon (South Rim)
Lakewood Campground (SC) in Myrtle Beach
The Big One:
If all goes well, we hope to take a month long trip to the Southwest. This will include some of the following stops:
Sand Dunes National Park (CO) staying at Base Camp Family Campground
Mesa Verde National Park (CO) staying at Cortez Mesa Verde KOA
Zion National Park (UT) staying at Zion Campground
Bryce Canyon National Park (UT) staying at Cannonville/Bryce Valley KOA
A drive through Canyonlands National Park
Arches/Canyonlands National Park (UT) staying at KOA Moab
Colorodo Springs (CO) staying at Lone Duck Campground
